In July 2025, my beautiful friend lost her partner, Lyndon, to Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Lyndon was diagnosed with MND in March 2024 and faced the disease with incredible strength and courage until he sadly passed away just 16 months later. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour, his unwavering love for his family, and the way he was his partner's rock through everything life threw at them.

Watching someone you care about navigate a loss like this changes your perspective on how devastating MND truly is. It is a progressive disease that gradually takes away a person's ability to move, speak, eat and breathe, yet there is still no cure.

As a photographer, I have the privilege of capturing memories with the people we love most. This cause feels especially close to my heart because it is a reminder of just how precious those moments can be.
